Derko is a civil engineer that has been working for many years in the sanitation industry. As an experienced project director and consultant, he has been responsible for numerous sanitation projects in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia, providing identification of suitable technologies, stakeholder analysis, institutional support and capacity building for public and private partners.
Marco has an MSC in architecture/urban planning and Advanced Studies in Management, Technology and Economics, having extensive entrepreneurial and management experience in both OECD and developing/emerging countries. His experience encompasses urban and regional planning, finance, corporate management, and private sector promotion and capacity building. Over the last years, Marco contributed to the development and implementation of sanitation strategies, program formulation and project implementation in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Amédé has a MSc degree in Environmental Engineering and FSM expert. He has worked in many sanitation projects in South Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean in both domestic and industrial wastewater management. He has gained experience in formulating national sanitation policies and strategies, stakeholders analysis, identification and design of suitable technologies and solutions (in particular for sludge management), and improving legal and regulatory, institutional and organizational frameworks.
Natascha is in charge of the backstop monitoring. She’s the administrative manager, responsible of the proposals and contracts establishment, the follow up of the human, financial and knowledge resources, based on her experience in administration, tax issues and project management. Swiss citizen born in Brazil, Natascha lived in Africa and works in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
